High Above the Sky in Bradford with IntoFilm
To celebrate the fantastic culture of filmmaking in the United Kingdom, IntoFilm is sending some great examples of British short films to schools across the country, in association with the British Council.
They curated a collection of some of the best short films in the country, they willll be hosting screenings of the films for schools around the UK between 13 April and 22 May, with the directors and filmmakers involved on hand to host Q&A sessions with the young people in attendance.
Amongst the selected films there is also High Above the Sky, and we are taking the films in three schools in Bradford at La Page Primary School, Queensbury School & St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School
Into Film (www.intofilm.org) works with a broad range of film industry professionals, from Imelda Staunton and Carey Mulligan, to key filmmakers, HOD’s and crafts people. Working alongside the UK’s film distributors, the Into Film Festival in November 2014, screened 150 films in 520 venues UK wide, and was the worlds largest youth film festival.
